I have seen people post this cross on their blogs as decoration. I’ve seen them wear it. I’ve seen it defended like crazy. All in the name that it is “Peter’s Cross”.
GUYS. WHY ARE WE GETTING SO RILED UP ABOUT PETER’S CROSS WHEN WE HAVE THE CROSS OF OUR LORD AND SAVIOR TO BE DEFENDING?!
Peter wanted to be crucified upside down because he did not feel worthy to die in the same way his Lord did. Why are we exalting his death to a level it does not have to be? He was a martyr. But rather getting so worked up on how he died, let us get fired up for Who he died for.
